An opportune moment

I was giving blood at the Red Cross the other day, and as I lay on the cot, I was looking at the flashcards I made in an attempt to learn the Japanese terms we use in class. The nurse taking the blood asked what I was doing, so I ended up telling her about aikido. She was very interested and said she was looking for something for her six-year-old to get involved in like that. I gave her the Web site address. It's nice to find opportunities to share the benefits of aikido with strangers. -- Tom
